FORM TER-SC TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REPORT
THIS FORM TO BE COMPLETED IF YOU HAVE AN ENGINEERING QUALIFICATION (HCERT or equivalent) AND 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE
IF NOT MOVE TO NEXT FORM TEO-SC
The form is for you to show the training you have received in the field of registration
(e.g. fire detection training) and your experience in your relevant field.
The Purpose of the Training and Experience Report and/or Outline (TER and/or TEO respectively) is to provide a factual record of the main periods in the applicant’s development from obtaining the highest technical qualification to the date of application, recorded in chronological order, and to identify the periods where the applicant took responsibility at the required level
This form is for your work record of the companies you worked for and a summary of the experience you have gained over the years in your field.
This should cover the last 3 years. Copy and fill in a different form for each job you have had.
The first part of the form is for your name and dates of your appointment along with the company and supervisors (if any) details.
The next section requires you to draw an organogram of your position within that company.
In the next block ‘report’: You provide an explanation of the work you did in less than 200 words. Explain the functions of your job within that company giving details of your design, commissioning, installation experience and any problems you were faced with during that period.
The final block is for you to show if you were supervised doing the above work or if you were the supervisor.
You must explain in 30-40 words what the responsibilities of your role were.
The form must be signed by both you and your supervisor.
