Compliance certificates are only awarded for installations the FSIB, or appointed inspector of the FSIB, confirms to be compliant with the codes of practice it is inspected against.
Should the system be non-compliant, a certificate will not be issued.
If the system reflects non compliances, rectifications should be conducted and the FSIB informed in writing, The FSIB may call for a second inspection or determine if photographic evidence can be accepted, a rectification report or compliance certificate will be issued if all non- compliances have been cleared.
Reporting
The FSIB reserve the right to inform the client of any installation which, in the opinion of the FSIB, is dangerous in any manner. The contractor will be given the opportunity to rectify such an installation before the client is informed.
